State Representative Pat Boyd, a Pomfret Democrat, confirmed today on WINY that he plans to seek a second term as state representative for the 50th district.
When WINY asked Boyd why he plans to seek another term, he replied: “I felt like I was able to have an influence in the process, be able to advocate for rural Connecticut, which is a voice that is not often heard up there. By making the decision to run again, I want to continue to work for giving our municipalities fairness and advocating for rural issues that aren't always heard loud and clear in Hartford."
We look forward to the upcoming campaign as Representative Boyd meets with residents across the district. You can learn more about his campaign at its official website, www.boydforct.com.
